The Osaka Aquarium presents a sampling of diverse natural habitats around the Pacific Rim. This seismic region—the Ring of Fire—consists of a necklace of volcanoes and rifts that surround the Pacific Ocean. Lyons/Zaremba, working with the architects, was responsible for program development, preliminary habitat design and preparation of educational and interpretive materials.
