In a close collaboration with the Gifu Aquarium staff, Lyons/Zaremba developed exhibits for Japan’s largest freshwater Aquarium. This attraction celebrates and compares the nature of Japan’s freshwater river ecosystems with the Mekong, Congo, and Amazon rivers. Educational interactive exhibits explore the relationship of people and the rivers and include a Mekong River researcher’s hut. An exhibit about seasonal Asian monsoons immerses visitors in a simulated rainstorm. |
